Does this include mulch delivery fees?
No. Enter the material price you have been quoted, then add delivery, spreading labor, edging, and site preparation separately.
How much extra mulch should I buy?
A 5–10% allowance is common for standard beds. Irregular shapes, slopes, or uncertain measurements may justify 10–15%. The calculator suggests a starting point that you can change.
Should I use bags or bulk mulch?
Bagged mulch is practical below 1 cubic yard for small beds. Between 1 and 2 cubic yards, compare bag convenience with bulk pricing. Above 2 cubic yards, bulk delivery is usually more cost-effective.
